Stephen Ministry Training Begins - March 14
Our Stephen Minister training class begins this week. We ask you to keep our trainees in your prayers as they nurture their gifts and acquire new skills to bring Christ’s love and care to people who are hurting and healing. Pray also for our Stephen Leaders who will guide them through their training.
BBQ Cook-off - March 21, 12 PM—2PM
The HBBC student Ministry will hold a BBQ cook-off on Sunday, March 21, in the fellowship hall. The proceeds will benefit the HBBC Student Ministry Summer Mission trip to Boston, MA. Enjoy all you can eat BBQ, Fixing's and a drink for $6.00 per person. If you would like to enter the cook-off, cost is $15.00 to enter. Grand prizes will be awarded! Spring Senior Adult Rally, Trinity Baptist Church
March 23, 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Come enjoy “Tarheel Tunes and Tales” by Bill Leslie, morning and noon Co-Anchor, WRAL TV; sponsored by the Raleigh Baptist Association. Cost $10.50 for lunch. We will leave the church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. To make your reservation, please fill out one of the envelopes in the rack below the deposit slot in our main hallway. Include your name and the name of the event along with a check or cash for the cost of lunch.
Operation Inasmuch - April 24
HBBC will once again participate in the statewide mission blitz of Operation Inasmuch! WHEELS4HOPE (W4H)
W4H is a faith-based and volunteer-driven organization whose mission is to accept, repair and refurbish donated vehicles and provide them at low cost to low-income families and individuals. By providing safe, reliable transportation, W4H has helped people within the Raleigh community maintain employment and stabilize their lives.
