Christian Education Council Framework for Planning

  • Biblical Knowledge - Developing knowledge of the Bible
  • Christian History and Theology - Developing understanding of God and out beleifs
  • Discipleship Development - Growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Spiritual Formation and Transformation - Connecting our Heart and Spirit with God
  • Life Skills - Providing Support in Managing Life's Practical Issues and Decisions
  • Leadership Development - Developing basic and spiritual leadership for our church

This framework is designed to ensure that we address the spectrum of Christian life and spiritual development at all levels of application. We will seek to plan programs that fit into one of the 5 categories, as well as tci ensure that we have at least one program in each area. This provides consistency, comprehensiveness and alignment to our total program and helps avoid an ad hoc or 'menu' approach to planning.

Please respond to the following questions with this framework as your foundation.
