Through the Bible Through the Year Devotional Guide 2010
Through the Bible through the Year, written by internationally acclaimed preacher and scholar John Stott, will be used as a guide in preparing for each Sunday’s worship in 2010. This beautifully bound book including a suggested guide for daily devotions and a volume of selected hymn texts are available for purchase in our Christian Resource Center for $22.00. LIFE Foundations 2010
Our winter term will begin January 6, 2010. We are pleased to offer the following courses: What It Means To Be a Baptist (Fellowship Hall), The Joys & Challenges of Parenting Teens (Room 124), Managing a Healthy Lifestyle (Room 224), ‘Book Club’ discussion: The Disturbing Galilean (Room 230), Making Good Sunday School Classes Better: Ideas for Members, Teachers and Officers (Fifth Grade Classroom).
Companions in Christ for Couples! January 24 - March 21
We are happy to offer a taste of the Companions in Christ course for couples! We will meet five Sunday evenings, bi-weekly, beginning January 24 and ending March 21. Each session requires a two hour commitment, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Each participant will need to purchase an individual copy of the book and pick up some accompanying resources on Wednesdays or Sundays beginning January 3. Registration deadline is January 17. The course requires daily reading and notations of personal reflection prior to each session. Cindy Tuttle and Julia Ledford look forward to working together to facilitate a meaningful journey for the participants. Register early as there will be room for only six couples!
